Poster for circuit class for people with neurological conditions and PD

A circuit-based exercise class suitable for people with Parkinson's Disease and other neurological conditions who are able to walk independently (with or without a walking aid); delivered by Neurological Physiotherapist, Jacey Kraut.

The class will include a group warm-up that can be done seated or standing and will involve whole body movements (similar to LSVT BIG and PD Warrior style movements). A circuit of exercises aimed at balance, strength, fitness, mobility, flexibility and movement training will follow. Each circuit station will have a seated or standing option and have the ability to be modified according to the individuals capability. The class will finish with a cool down that will include an indoor walking activity.

Any person wanting to attend the circuit class must have medical approval to attend. They will also need to book a 30-minute physiotherapy assessment home visit (cost $150) prior to attending.
